Booking & Cancellation Policies

BOOKING POLICIES

(UPDATED COVID-19 CONDITIONS IN RED):

  • To confirm any reservation, a non-refundable deposit of 20% of the cruise cost per passenger is required within 8 business days from the booking date. Only when this deposit is received the booking is considered confirmed. For charters, a non-refundable deposit of 20% from total amount will be required.The deposit can be used as future credit for you, a friend or a relative in the event that Ecuadorian or Galapagos borders close due to COVID-19 or the country of origin of the passenger has done the same. Same applies if mandatory quarantines in Ecuador or the Galapagos does not allow guests to meet the cruise on time for departure. The credit will be valid for 12 months from the original cruise date.
  • If no deposit is received within 8 business days, the blocked spaces will be released.
  • Final payment (balance) must be completed 60 days prior to the cruise departure date for FITs; and 120 days prior to the cruise departure date for charters.The final payment can be used as future credit in the event that Ecuadorian or Galapagos borders close due to COVID-19 or the country of origin of the passenger has done the same. Same applies if mandatory quarantines in Ecuador or the Galapagos does not allow guests to meet the cruise on time for departure. The credit will be valid for 12 months from the original cruise date. Alternatively, the 80% balance payment can be refundable due to the same COVID-19 related reasons exposed above.
  • Any increments in fuel, airport taxes, etc above 2% from the cost of the cruise, will be covered by the passenger.

REGULAR CANCELLATION POLICIES:

For FITs:

  • Cancellations made 60 or more days prior to the cruise departure date, only the deposit will be
  • Cancellations made between 59 – 31 days before the cruise departure date, a penalty of 50% of the cruise value will apply.
  • Cancellations made between 30 to 0 days before the cruise departure date, a penalty of 100% will

For Charters:

  • Cancellations made 121 or more days prior to the cruise departure date, only the deposit will be withheld.
  • Cancellations made between 120 – 61 days before the cruise departure date, a penalty of 50% of the cruise value will apply.
  • Cancellations made between 60 to 0 days before the cruise departure date, a penalty of 100% will apply.

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION & TRAVEL INSURANCE

All reservations, modifications, and/or cancellations must be sent to your sales representative in writing. No verbal confirmations, modifications, or cancellations will be accepted. Please note rates and policies are subject to change without prior notice. In case of changes in policies all confirmed bookings as well as new ones will be readjusted accordingly.

We strongly recommend passengers purchase a comprehensive travel insurance policy for protection from any potential loss before/during your trip. Our company will not be responsible for any financial disappointment caused by reasons beyond our control and no refunds or partial refunds will be given for late cancellations or no shows.
